just set up a date with some girl

laid out the plans and all, "hey let's go to X at Y time, that work for you?" and her response was quite eloquently:

>Yes

that's it. I don't know why, I guess I just find her cold, singular utterance a bit weird. what should I say next? "Great see ya then"? keep in mind I am a noob at dating in general so if this sounds completely normal, just let me know and also tell me how to respond and what my next steps are

please and thanks /adv/, love you guys

just say "k see ya there"
next time you ask someone out, do not give them a chance to say yes or no
like what you did "that work for you?"
keep in mind girls do wanna do anything (most of the time) and rather have a guy who is decisive

say:

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

>that's it. I don't know why, I guess I just find her cold, singular utterance a bit weird.

I think maybe you're being a bit of a needy cunt. I say this because sometimes when I'm doing things like, say, living my life, I don't really have time to stop what I'm doing, look down at my phone and type out heartfelt responses to everyone I'm talking to just so their butts don't get sore.

Not everyone treats text messaging the same way they do conversations and for good reason; its not the same fucking thing at all.

Half the time when I text I'm working or concentrating on some other kind of task and its literally a one-handed response to confirm information.

Lighten the fuck up. The woman said yes to the date, honestly, what else do you want?

cool thanks, sage advice

No matter how awful you thought he was, I promise you seem worse.

Anyway, I think it's strange just how much dialogue and conversation has changed between humans in the more recent decades. Things that would be looked at as rude and 'mentally slower' to say or type are now looked at as normal and to be expected. Imagine back in the 20's if someone replied like this to being asked out.
