Hi /adv/
I don't know if any of you have/had any eating disorder.
I had bulimia (recovered), BE (almost recovered), and anorexia (working on it, but in path to recovery), and I realized that when I don't eat enough for days/weeks, my body "shuts down" I lose all energy, I can't wake up from bed and spend all day sleeping (and also gain a lot of weight when I don't eat).
I'm not underweight, so I don't know if those two things are related, my theory is that my body start to keep all the energy? or something? Can this be possible?

I'll explain myself better, if I stop eating properly, I stop losing weight and for every bit I eat I gain some kg, instead of keeping my weight or losing it (as it happens with some of the people I know). This is for weeks obviously, not on the long term.

I'm not leaving in my country and I can't afford 160+€ to pay a doctor, who are usually rude as hell
yeah, metabolism is a thing that's variable. how have you not already read about diets.
