I've met a girl I really like recently. Since she was scheduled to go abroad for the holidays, we quickly went on a drinks date followed by another one where we went to see Star Wars, which finished by a drink at my place where we kissed.

I thought it was going quite well and tried to keep it alive, texting a little bit every day. However, on Christmas Eve, after exchange Merry Christmas I told her I just 2 places for a Star Wars ice sculptures expo and asked her if she'd like to go there with me when she's back. It's been 5 days and I never got an answer to that.

What's going on here? Did I come too strong with that? If yes, at what point does it becomes okay to double-text her to know what's up with that?

Actually she left a while ago, on the 18th, just after our second date. That's why texting is my only option at the moment. Before leaving she told be that she'd back tomorrow (30th) but already has plans for New Year's Eve and that we could see each other on the 1st.

Thanks, guess I needed to hear that. It's just hard not to double text when I can't find anyone who compares.

I've been taking to other girls since I saw that coming, but about every girl my age is and will be in exams for the month to come so I can't even distract myself with somebody else.
