In the past I've had my house broken into. I didn't think it had any lasting impact on me, but I've noticed recently I get scared when I'm in the house alone (I live with 6 other people so this rarely happens). I jump at little noises and don't leave my room unless I really have to. How do I get over this? I don't want to always need to have someone around.
