i don't get forward bend i can't do that without bending my knees?
feel like i suck at yoga and it's discouraging.

Most yoga is more for the meditation aspect. I would either take a class, or ask your doctor about some healthy ways to stretch and improve your flexibility without hurting yourself. Also, everyones body is built different, and doing Yoga doesn't guarantee that you will be able to touch your toes, or it might take years to get to that point.
Go to some professionals for a better opinion.

It will happen if you keep doing it. cm by cm, inch by inch. There's no set timeline, you keep doing it and you keep improving and in time you'll get there.

Considering your goals, perhaps you should go for pilates instead of yoga.
I have never taken a yoga class ,but as a dancer it might take you a while to do a forward bend. To be honest you gotta take time to stretch those muscles. Just don't get to carried away you might pull something and be fucked for a few months. Oh and don't feel bad about sucking at yoga! We always suck at something before getting gud.
