Here's the thing /adv/, I do this thing called masturbating prone. For those who don't know what that is, its basically where instead of masturbating with my dick in my hand, I masturbate by lying down prone position and pushing my dick towards the floor as if to rub it that way. It's been going on since I was about three years old and I didn't do it in order to gain any sexual pleasure, I just did it it because it felt nice to me. I found it out on my own as far as I can remember. Here's the thing, people say that the average rate of masturbation is about once or twice a day. Not for me, I pretty much masturbate every other hour given the chance if I'm not out, maybe more if I'm feeling the mood. I don't know what's up with me. I don't know how many other people do it like me or masturbate as much as I do. In terms of how normal this behaviour is, am I 'healthy'?

Anyway, to address your issue. It seems like you've developed a habit since the age of 3. Learn some self control and try to fight your urges longer and longer. For starters, instead of masturbating every other hour, try for every 3 hours and do this over the course of months until you develop a regular masturbation habit.

Thanks guys and frogfriend. I just usually feel the need to do it because porn is readily available, and if I'm not up for porn, I often have erotic fantasies of people I do personally or semi-personally know and that gets me off. Yeah, I think the fact that I've been doing it since I was 3 has its effect on me.
I tried masturbating normally but it's no use. I just don't know how to arouse pleasure from it. I think learning to masturbate properly might help me in my position because I'll be a normal person and it might help with moderating this "addiction". Wow. I used to do this when I was a kid, long before I even knew what masturbating or orgasms were. I don't think you need to consciously try to stop or slow down, you need to get a job or a hobby that keeps you occupied. Are you male or female? If you're a male that's kinda weird I guess but if you're female not really, I know women that can orgasm just by rocking on a seat or in someone's lap.
