My girlfriend sent this to me this morning. I doubt that she means anything by it, because she doesn't "drop hints" like that. If it's important she usually just says what's on her mind. We are currently going to colleges a couple towns away but we see eachother regularly and have been making things work. We have plans to get a place together next fall, and of course I love her very much.
But I mean I've been very clear with her in the past in stating that I'd rather not get married until at least a year or two after I'm done with my undergrad. She seemed to echo the same sentiment.
Again, I doubt it means anything. I just wanted to get your guys' input.
Is this an isolated incident?
If so, ignore it, she was only telling you about her dream, don't push it if you don't want it developing.
If not, it's time to have a talk to understand what each other wants, where you both are in life, and how you can make it work if you can.

I just want to wait until we are financially stable, it's stupid to just jump into a marriage with reckless abandon, and I can't trust my emotions because I'm just a young guy.
Besides, what if something happens that I can't foresee? What if I don't actually know this girl like I think I do? What if she ends up not being the one?
As she is and has been, she seems like the girl I'd love to spend the rest of my life with. But we need more time, and 1.5 years isn't nearly enough in our case.

If she's not usually a hint dropper then it's probably an isolated incident.
There was a time where I thought I'd get married at 19 after 3 years together. We broke up because we realized we wanted different things in life. Love alone isn't always enough.

Lots of shit could happens in a short period of time at that age, stop making plans for the rest of your life, you're just 19, also i think getting married at that age it's a really, really bad move.
