Yeah, 18 is young and dumb as fuck, 23 is significantly more mature and smarter, but it's nothing you can't work on.

You have to carefully plan every single move, then get advice about your plan from a mongolian noodle board just to make sure it's been cross checked.
Also, no one ever dates anyone who is older or younger than them.

Do you read? Do you want to ? You can try talking about books, maybe look up upcoming movies see if one's based on a book and you both can read it then talk about it then see the movie together when it comes out
Seems like you've got a common interest in bands/music. Send her some tunes or share some. Make conversation, asking about her past, what she's wanting to do with life and so on.
Don't be an autist, don't be a neck beard basement dweller, don't act like you earned a degree in porn review.
Build some rapport and don't go radio silent on her.
The point of texting is not to "just chat" but to try to set up dates. Make your intentions clear or this will go nowhere.
