Just giving a number is no help at all. People on 4chan have wildly different ideas of what a "5" is. People have posted with pictures of celebrities, who make a large part of their living from their looks, and say that they are a "5, at best." Or post a picture of themselves, a perfectly ordinary person that no-one would look at twice, and say that they are a "2". On the other hand, some morbidly obese troll shut-in with greasy hair will opine that they're at least a 6.

Like I said, go to /fit/, start lifting, get a better haircut, lose some weight. You'll go up 2-3 points on the kinsey scale, and it will make you more confident, and confidence is key to getting laid

Look at what you're willing to do and what you're not. If you don't feel confident about yourself focus on what you can do to look better and also remember that when you look at yourself you know you're own flaws where as others don't and therefore don't see you the same way (not until they get to know you better at least). If going out makes you anxious and you can't do it work your way up, practice small talk in chats room, practice talking to shop keepers (keep it brief) and so on. Try joining a club that interests you, get a more social job like working at McDonalds etc. You might not succeed the same way an out going confident male does but work with what you've got and build yourself up. It's said that within the next 10 years most people will meet their partners through apps or over the internet.
