So lastnight me and my gf had drinks with my neighbour last night who are around 50 years old. My neighbour's wife took my girlfriend into the next room and it sounded like she was talking about me. I told my neighbour that if shes speaking shit about me its going to get back to me.
My neighbours response to that was "well what can you offer her? your going to be in college for the next 3-4 years and your 25", I asked what he was trying to imply and why it was his position to make that comment he just trailed off....
I find out later on that the neighbours wife said that im not the guy for her, i dont see things half way as she does bla bla as if she knew about our relationship when realistically she knows nothing and have met twice.
By my neighbours response (ie: what can you offer her?) it seems that this whole scenario was orchestrated/premeditated

Yeah if your neighbors think you're a loser you shouldn't hang out with them. You should talk to your girlfriend and find out what she thinks about you and your relationship. If she wants out, thats fine. If she doesn't want out, you should explain to her that they are trying to sabotage your relationship, and that its best for both of you to not hang out with negative people.
