This thread is for technically skilled /aco/ material. IE erotic art that is very well drawn and composed. If you couldn't justify using the term masterful to describe the subject of your post, it doesn't belong.
Beyond that, there's no subject restrictions.

So how does this apply to artists whose work is stylized but still skilled like ninjakitty for example
pic obviously related.
>>660661
It's fine as long as they're well drawn. I just don't like that half the posts on /aco/ are some sloppy shit that look like they were made in MS paint.
You want a thread with good art, yet you post trash. Less than half of what you've posted so far looks good. Look up faustsketcher, saltyicecream, and manyakis (he mostly does animations though).
>>660679
And before I forget, Incase as well.
>>660679
>Doesn't think the art in this thread shows enough technical skill
>Suggests artists who draw anime faces
>>660597
I recognize that shot

>>660590
anyone notice how cockeyed that pic is? seriously that is REALLY off center
>>660957
Copying and badly rendering a photo takes less skill than actually good anime art with solid gesture, lines, and colors. Pic related.
>>661094
Using technology to get better results with less effort is called progress.
These sort of suck... Op's example being probably the worst.
>>661145
Only if the result's good. OP's picture is definitely isn't, unless you're into bland colors that don't work well together, lazy eye, and inconsistent rendering, I guess.
quality is hard to find
I personally love InCase's shading
why waste real talent on porn
Why is it a waste?
>>661706
My God, this is exactly what I hoped to find in kind of thread.
Shame there's so little of it, in general and in this thread.
>>662009
Looks more like a photo with a filter than a trace. Which is way worse.
>>661094
While I do agree that picture looks good, as far as technical skill goes, that's not the best and probably not what OP was looking for. Anime style is a lot easier to learn and easier to copy than a realistic art style, and in that particular picture, the line art is good, but there is almost no shading or blending at all.
>>660590
messed up eyes dude, messed up eyes
>>660590
I don't understand, why not just look at normal porn
>>663447
Shut up, Matou.

>technically skilled artwork can't improve upon realistic situations, at all, ever
>I can't enjoy artwork that is highy detailed or even realistic, no matter the content or context
To each their own preferences, of course, but you simply sound actually retarded.
>>660590
that face is FUCKED UP holy shit
>>660661
>that
>skilled
fuck off, ninjakitty, you fucking suck donkey dick
that is awful, like shad tier but slightly worse
>>662524
"anime style" - or rather anything simplified, not only anime, is easier to copy than hyperrealism indeed but definitely not easier to learn since you'd have a perfect understanding of anatomy, shape and perspective - just like the "realistic" artists but also a great imagination and ability to render a simple shape that would still remain readable and serve as your signature, original style. a lot depends on taste here and I'm not saying that cartoon artists are better than realistic artists or vice versa, but what i'm saying is that belittling cartoonish styles is simply unfair.
tl;dr just bc there's no blending doesn't mean it doesn't require skill to create
I have 39 pictures, can dump if anyone suggests a tool to do it easily, I'm too lazy to post them manually.

There's a point to using reference but not tracing. lol I work in the business and you would be surprised with what artist actual reference and use to painting of.
A tribute to the famous Art nouveau artist Alfons Mucha by good old Milo Manara.
>>660590
so not pic related?
This is extremely shitty entry level realistic render
>>660661
What the fuck
>>667083
There is a certain limit there. Almost everything in this thread is shit, no proper gesture or flow to the drawing, fucked up anatomy and perspective everywhere, mostly good rendering which is so easy to achieve these days that this is not an achievement in any way.
But it absolutely does take more time and more skill to create art that has both great gesture, and god tier rendering to it instead o just flat colors.
Color theory and complexity of applying colors is overrated, understanding subsurface scattering, depth of field, ambient occlusion, and actually thinking of color in terms of light instead of just colors is the hard part and that's why a lot of better skilled artists these days are concept artists, they get to train this shit every fucking day...though they also take a lot of shortcuts there.
Step aside faggots

Right....they're a bit on the big side but not massive.
Okay I just started this thread to enjoy the shitstorm that followed, and you people didn't disappoint. I considered posting some of Shad's stuff in the initial posts, but I figured that would be overdoing it.

rammstein tattoo tho

too 3d
Just another thread of pretentious fuckwits arguing who has the shittiest taste. Never seen a "Quality Art" thread worth fapping to, and I doubt I ever will.
>>663447
A technically accurate painting of an everyday object is far more interesting and beautiful than any photograph or film. The same applies to the human body and sex.
>>660682
>SameFace
>Technically skilled
>>661094
That's pretty good for anime/manga style art, but it still looks flat and lifeless compared to most of the images in this thread.
