Thanks for finally answering my year long question. I remember when you had only like 400 or so going into your patreon and seeing that goal. After a while I knew you must have hit that goal for several month, but the radio silence got me worried you weren't going to do shit unless your tumblr/pixiv got attacked (as in almost never). It would have been nice if you announce that you would actually start making the archive or that it is in the works at the least. If you actually did then I am sorry for missing it somehow.

In short, this is a portable image database designed to replace the old way of sorting your images in folders by using a tagging system like a booru. You could upload your images and flash into this, tag them, then set it up as an online gallery and share the key to other hydrus users and they can automatically download the works tags and all. This would be a great alternative for you to use while you design your own archive website.

I haven't fully integrated into using hydrus yet, but from the time I have been using it I can tell this will eventually replace my shoddy millions of folders for sorting images out. I am waiting on the author to rework his website crawlers before I decide to go all in. The guy updates every Wednesday so it might not be too long until it has everything I need.
Sorry if I sound like a shill, but I think this program could really change things for people. I think this shortstack general and many others could benefit from having a dedicated hydrus gallery that could be maintained and make it easy for people to grab all the OC without having to use a 4chan archive.
