This is true about any game though. Of course the show's art isn't 'built for lewd,' but matching show art isn't the point. Akabur's hermione doesn't look like emma watson, and you're not doing good grafix with 3D models in Pixar's Renderman.

The show also doesn't need to be sexualized at all nor do the characters need more depth. That would make it easier sure, but not a necessity. Using akabur as an example none of the characters act how they are depicted in their media at all and they all got sexualized looks that make it so you could tell who they are but thats it.
