Light bondage is definitely something to kick in there at one point. I was actually hoping to incorporate it into a problem I had writing the initial conflict where Ryuko and Beatrix fight.
I didn't give it enough thought and just made Beatrix faster than Ryuko so she could start applying the weakening items. I need to show that Beatrix does actually start out a weaker combatant in the beginning, but ends up vampiring all of Ryuko's strength until Ryuko is pathetically weak which gives Beatrix the power trip that becomes her undoing.
