Like with a lot of artists though, you can see a clear evolution in his work over time by looking at the archive on his site (although it doesn't have a lot of his older stuff, including one rather sweet picture he did of a ballet dancer a very long time ago). I think the main problem now is that he tries to make the pics seem more dynamic, like snap-shots of an ongoing motion. Understandable then that it can come out looking strange sometimes.

My problems with Shad...
- He draws way too much, thus his quality suffers. That whole quality over quantity applies here.
- Because he's always drawing, I think he's also getting lazy. You can tell when some of his stuff looks like it was drawn half-assed for the sake of just giving people something to look at while he works on something else. You'll see this a lot in his pin-ups as well.
- He lacks variety in his choice of characters. Every now and then he'll draw a new character, but the guy is always sticking with Helen and Vi from Incredibles. Like dude, switch it up.
