Some of us who can't draw for shit still make an effort, and it's pretty great that our thread motivates people to do that. I'm not that confident in drawing, so I have no idea how people would react. I'm always afraid that I'm the shittiest artist out of the bunch, so I rarely have the will to do anything. One day it'll turn out good and dandy and I'll think "oh hey this is p cool" and other days I'll make something like pic related and think "oh this is shit oooh" with a frown.

Have you ever considered looking into Loomis or Vilppu? They're really quite helpful for learning figure drawing, and you can find PDFs of their books for free really easily.

But drawing is the better way to learn how to draw! And sharing is the better way to get criticism and learn in what you should focus and improve! And drawing other people's character you give a lot of insight in design, interaction, and inspiration! Your art isn't the greatest, I'll admit, but it has A LOT of good potential, and I can't wait to see everyone's oc in your improved art style in a few months, even weeks!
And I can't say for everyone, but I love when people draw my characters, and I'd absolutely adore if you drew them, too. It doesn't have to be the most beautiful drawing in the world; Just to see that people took their time to look at my art and my ideas and take inspiration from it, to see other people's interpretation of what I created, ohh, it's such a great feeling. That's why I even come to this thread.
I'll tell you that I used to do the same. I was ashamed of my stuff and only showed a few of it for people close to me. And it took me a lot more than it should to improve. I interacted less with other people's visions and tastes, I had less motivation, I learned less about my own art. And those things are valuable.

Here's my OC, Amelia, from last thread. Something I forgot to mention is that, as you can see, she's got only one arm. Something y'all might be thinking is that she has a stump to the elbow. That is wrong. She doesn't even have a left shoulder. That's something I think is often misunderstood.

Ok so, here she is. Her name is Ashley and she's kind of a scaredy cat, she gets spooked pretty easily and if that happens she can lose some of her limbs when she gets frightened. Ironically she's a big fan of good horror movies, mostly because she looks in admiration to all the characters that face their fears to help other people (her name is a reference to that too).

You can say its not super extravagant, but in its simplicity it's a design executed very well. the outfit, use of color. Call her plain, but dont say she isnt designed well, I just cant agree.
And she also has interesting personality quirks.

Also I never stopped to consider, we always see Arrow in what would be her "Trap Form" (or well we call it trap form because Axe turns into a trap when his costume and hair changes when he summons his weapon.)

As for Arrow, yeah, I've only shown her in futa form. Her normal form is kinda plain-looking, just like Axe's is. Not quite as unrecognizable though. Maybe I'll draw it sometime. Thanks for asking!
