It's an okay rough draft, but I'd say polish wouldn't help too too much with the issues present, it would probably work best as a concept piece to hand off to a more skilled primary artist. Good practice for the original artist so he can eventually operate solo if need be, and saves time for whoever is doing the final designs.

In a manner of speaking. Sunrider themselves werent sent the C&D, Patreon received if on their behalf. Patreon caved and said "remove it or else". Akabur received one when working on Witch trainer, and got around it by just changing the name (It was originally "Hermione Trainer"). Then again hes Russian so who knows how much that compares.
They have said they still intend to work on Injustice more "at some point", but their new game will be their major focus for the near future.
SR7 was told to remove anything infringing to any copyright as well or face permanent banning. So obviously they had to switch to OC right away to have anything on Patreon.
He'll probably wait 4 months or so, finish off Injustice a bit, rename it, and throw it out the door.

Yeah, just because Akabur got away with something one time does not mean that the same options were available to SR7. Patreon was a much younger service back then and might have been more flexible than they are today, as well as the contents of the CC&D may have been different. They made a dumb move giving it the same name as the fighter game in the first place, but trying to "fight it out" would have been a waste of time.
