In my personal opinion the characters that are not in the top 10 that I feel should get a spot are:
Either Fowder or Jack because they been around forever and their owner has done countless deliveries across pretty much every thread.
Franny for sure, Yuwatu's been around for just as long and has done really awesome deliveries for as long as I've been around.
I have a character in the top 10 and I would gladly trade that spot for one of those I named.
In the end, is just a minor thing, I really dont think is something worth discussing too much about.

I dont think the poll should be an absolute. (Idk if it was ever meant to be) but this thing can be discussed.
We also have to figure out the details of who's gonna draw what, which ocs get which numbers, how/who's gonna actually be able to swap the catgirls with the ocs, ect. Which is why I think we should come up with all the details of what's gonna happen, and have them written out for convenience and organization, before we get down to actually doing anything. The planning will take a while though, but there's no rush, so we have time to iron out all the kinks

Here's a suggestion. Call off the poll shit for now. Don't change the counter. It'll be a source of contention and lingering resentment, plus opinions change. The poll would've racked up very different results if we did it in thread 10 or something vs now. Just imagine the difference in thread 30. If we are to fancy up the counter, use Donut Steel, who will be the OP image for every thread. Header can be for OCs because you don't just have 10 slots.

This numbers thing is worth fracturing our small growing community. If we can't this this as fair as possible, it's not worth it. What are we potentially alienating people for? Customized numbers? As is it doesn't even seem worth doing, and there are people who don't even want to be involved even if the won the poorly utilized poll.

Here is my solution proposal to the booru counter issue. It's detailed and specific in laying out a system that I think will make certain that the ocs that are worthy of being on the counter share the spotlight without the limitation of only 10 slots.

And a weekly rotation will just make the counter topic to be brought up again, and again, and again, AND AGAIN every single time a rotation would be done.
Probably the best solution is either not even bother with it or have those that REALLY want their OC in the counter just draw it themselves and upload it. that way those that really care will have it done and those that dont really wont even have a reason to complaint. and if more than 10 people submit OCs then they can discuss among themselves which one goes up within that group.
In the end, IS JUST A COUNTER YOU SEE FOR A FEW SECONDS WHEN ENTERING THE SITE!! its not worth this much planning!

Yeah like the way i planned it is basically only for those that really want it. Cause only the ones who really want it will put in the work to make it happen. I just wanted to provide a solution plan where anyone who wants it can get it and not be left out, since the results of the poll started the bickering and people didn't like who was included or who wasn't.
This way it's ultimately up to the creators to decided if they want their ocs as the counters, and if they're willing to put the effort into it. If noones willing to put the effort into it, then yeah, it probably shouldn't be done at all.

Well RPG girl is "Pseudo Latina" so she can speak Spanish and English.
The reason is because the game world has 3 continents (named very stupidly "Left", "Middle" and "Right", them being proxys for America Europe and Asia respectively.) and each "Town" tended to represent a real world area or country.
"Ammy's" mother was from the area that would be Mexico, which in the game was a town where everyone was named after Colors in spanish (her mom is Celeste and her sister's real name was Verde) so everyone from there can speak Spanish.
Now that I think about it, if "Ammy" would gotten a name in universe instead of being player named, her name likely would been either "Amarillo" or "Azul".

That works on a lot of levels because by a twist of fate my 3DS and Miiverse username is "Amarillo". and it was all caused by a misundertanding of how the minigame "Find Mii" works, it's a long and silly story.

Try to find the defining features and then adapt them to your own style. emulating others style is difficult so you should just draw it like it was something you would normally draw but still make it clear it's the character in question.

And yeah, basically what everyone else has said. Nobody's gonna be upset that you gave them free art of their OC, so the best thing to do is just find the main features that make them stand out, be sure to get them right, and then just fill in the rest with your own style.
