Start by sitting up whenever you need to wet, then once you're comfortable doing that you can start propping yourself up with your pillows when you wet, and so forth. I think they are a bit to expensive in terms of how functional they are, you can get just as good or better absorption from other diapers. Thickness is pretty good and design is up to your preference. Their tapes are god tier though, whenever I would put one one I would typically tape it on lying down, then once standing re-adjust each tape for a nice snug fit, and the tapes were still good to secure to the diaper when rolled up to toss.
