I was so worried that Shwarzes Marken, just like Total Eclipse, would give us 2 good episodes at the start, then throw everything out of the window and just give us laziness for the rest of the series. But no. We actually got 12 solid episodes of dark atmosphere, and I loved it! The atmosphere in this anime is this anime’s biggest selling point, because it was just so engrossing - The snow, the human conflict, the despair, the distrust… It all came together to give me enough feels to keep me hooked throughout, and that’s all this anime (one that’s about kids fighting aliens) really needed to do.
Now, I will admit that Schwarzes Marken doesn’t really have that much of a story, to the point where did find it quite difficult to understand what was going on most of the time, and none of the characters got any interesting development, but I didn’t really mind all that. The point of this anime is to be a dark and atmospheric mecha anime, not to be some really character or story driven anime.

Well, it's outright stated in BiS that Beatrix is hotter by both Iris and Jurgen. In SM, it's more implied with the adjectives it uses. Beatrix is always described using more sexually charged language.
As for the virgin part, don't know. Abel keeps his daughter locked up pretty tight, but according to the spoilers, he has been using her to entice Jurgen over to his faction.

I bet it will. Pretty much everybody in MuvLuv is a good guy on some level, or at least they have good intentions. LN SM Axmann was a brutal shift from that optimistic viewpoint so it makes sense to change him to be a little more like the others. He's still not 'good', but he's a desperate cynic out for number one instead of an outright sadistic sociopath who was a bad apple from the start. It makes a ton of sense, actually. No matter what sort of in-house training you've had, nobody is going to send a swallow to seduce a high profile target unless they know she can actually get the job done. The most cost-effective and just generally effective way to train her would be to just drop her off on a corner and tell her to go out and fuck someone. Use a rape kit on her the next day to prove there's actually semen inside of her. Once she can do that, you make her fuck a specific random person, so you can tell she's not just picking easy targets.
Not only is this sort of training incredibly cheap, it's also far more effective than anything they could do in-house.
