Having only finished First Stage, this actually makes me glad that I don't have a car yet and don't plan on getting one any time soon. I've mostly only grown up loving open-wheelers and there's no car culture to speak of where I live, but I still loved 1S in spite of its simplicity and its shortcomings and especially in spite of the fact that I couldn't relate to the general feeling the way that anon did. As worried as I am about the relevance of introduced characters falling off a cliff, I'm now more hopeful that I'll be able to at least partially enjoy the following seasons.
