Oh man. The end of that episode where she "dies" and Miyu walks into the lake carrying her while that song plays... I was 20, naive, and sobbed like a bitch. I watched it 7 times in a row, on the floor of my almost empty student dorm room. I was shocked that something like this could happen in such a cute and feel-good cartoon. It really got me interested in anime.
It was also the time around which I discovered image forums and the dank memes of 4chan. It was a better time, when I still had a bright future ahead of me and didn't know of the world.
