>has a cute yandere waifu
>doesn't have to worry about HOPU, DESPAIRU, or FUTURE
Komaru Naegi is the only character in Dangan Ronpa who has her shit together
Asahina is dead lmao
Can someone list all the flags Hina raised before she went?
>Remember in the first episode when Izayoi threw a kunai at Aoi which left a mark on the door?
>Kirigiri noticed this and so she's figured out this is a different room to the one they were in when sleeping gas knocked them out.
>Despair on Mondays
>Mindbreak on Thursdays
I thought main cast characters were safe, goddammit.
I want off this ride.
>tfw he feels conflicted because he actually wants to know he was loved
hina was just the easiest choice because she was a survivor yet not part of the MC crew. and weedman/toko wouldn't have brought the same reaction. plus she was cute
if they kill kyoko or togami i'll care
>Touko is madly in love with Togami, will kill (or even NOT kill) for him
>Chooses Komaru over him at the end of Another Episode
>The survivors escape the building
>They find out years have past and their memory was wiped
>They open the front door, the light blinding
>A single figure is there
>The city is a gleaming utopia is behind him
>"Hey, guys! I did it!"
How would you feel if this was the ending?
She was too good for this world. Time to dedicate some semen in memory of her.
Gee, what a hard choice, go for a guy you forcefully suppress yourself for and who treats you like shit (even though she likes it) or for a girl who fully embraces both of you.
If anything, Komaru is crazier than Toko.
I need this to happen
It will be the greatest ending this season
>Killer Killer's a monthly release.
Well fuck. What does Kodaka expect us to get out of it if he recommended that we follow it as the anime episodes air? That will be, what, 2-3 more chapters by the time the anime wraps up?
I would feel something, but I wouldn't know how to put words to it.
He gave her the greatest and last despair of her life. Of course she does.
I care nothing about spoilers.
Does more than one person usually get out at the end of these games or nah. Like I know what the premise is, just wondering how much the devs stick to that.
You should play the game because that did not happen
I just want Chisa back. One look at her design back when it was first released and I thought I would like her the most. Then for whatever reason I watch the first episode of despair arc first, and then fell in love, not getting what happened in the opening scene. At the very least she's too pure and hopeful for the Danganronpa world.
Naegi raised one for her by saying "don't worry, my SHSL luck will protect us"
Only worked for him it seems.
>Halfway through the season
>They get their shit together
>Decide they need to take down mastermind
>Don't know how to get out
>Suddenly everything starts crumbling
>"What's going on?!"
"It's my dealer"
What do you think is gonna happen Thursday? Happy SoL times or shit starting to go down?
Why is Seiko so cute
I just wanna hug her
So this basically confirms Makoto, Kyoko, Kyousuke, Miaya, Ryouta and Ruruka will be the 6 survivors?
Fits pretty well
How the fuck did this shit get funded?
"Yo I want to make not one, but TWO anime series's and have them airing together within the same week. The viewer needs to have played two games in the series at the bare MINIMUM to even understand what's going on."
They put a bunch of SOL in the credits, so I think shit's about to get real
I believe first anime was at least commercially successful. Maybe overall merchandise is selling well and Lerche was just interested in working on the franchise.
They possibly wanted to make 2 cour adaptation of 2nd game, but through Japanese magic and weed Kodaka probably convinced them to do the based route we're in right now.
I really really hope Japs are eating this up.
Idiots. That's not what I meant. She chose Komaru in the sense that overpowered her lust for Byakuya, which up until that point was her entire drive.
Whatever the fuck you faggots are on about is far off from what I meant
Kirigiri will slowly suffocate in one of the final episodes while Naegi will only walk to her because if he ran then he could've saved her
It's ok. I'm used to all the despair now.
For le dr1 cast is not safe meme, despite the fact that this means Naegi and baconhands are in the clear
>either do something interesting with a returning character
>or kill her off for """"""shock""""" and """""""""tension"""""""""
>entire episode dedicated to Makoto being unable to save Kirigiri in time without killing himself as he watches her suffocate
I hope it's another simulation, and that's why the door is fixed.
Don't leave us, Hina.
I know man. It's going to be one despair filled ride.
When hina died my entire body got covered in goosebumps
It may get all the main elements of the plot, but EVERY single ounce of characterisation gets thrown under the bus. I don't understand how anyone could care about any of the characters just from the anime alone.
Plus it has absolutely awful pacing issues that pretty much ruin the investigation and trial elements.
Yeah, like they'd pull that bullshit again.
Aoi would be a vegetable if they did anyways.
a vita tv is 40 dollars and the games are in PC anyway
>DR1 cast was so full of hope that Junko who was literally in their class couldn't corrupt them
>She had to erase their memories and cheat just so she could have them fall into DESPAIR
Seeing all those class photos made it even worse
>For le dr1 cast is not safe meme, despite the fact that this means Naegi and baconhands are in the clear
That's exactly why I wanted Kirigiri to die instead of Aoi. I won't really believe she or Makoto can die until one of them does.
>There's an extremely large chance that Komaru is watching the broadcast
If we're going by the five petals thing than one of these final 6 will be the traitor and I bet it's Kyoko
Makoto, Kyousuke, Ryouta, Miaya and Ruruka are those 5 petals of hope.
Ok hear me out:
The game isn't happening. It's not a simulation, because it's all taking place in Makoto's head following the gas attack. It's a battle for control over his body between him and Ghost / AI / Joker virus Junko. The anime will try to make it seem ambiguous whether it's real or a hallucination, then it'll all come down to whether Makoto believes it's real (and kills himself) or believes it's a hallucination (and kills kyoko or P4 protag or something). Penultimate episode will be ambiguous. He'll make a choice and it'll cut to black.
Or it's just Monaca and that's it, no other twists.
we got 12 episodes
1 Twilight Syndrome should be one
2 Mikan getting fuck by people and Junko should be another
3 No idea wtf happens to sonia
4 Akane and nekumaru ???
5 Teru Teru
6 Twogami shit
7 Hajime + killing game should be like 2 episodes
8 Chiaki stuff ??
9 DR Zero contend with Ryoko
Nah man, they'll just pull a Hajime and brute force their way out. Then they'll go find Jabberwock Crew, find out that Hopeman didn't wake up because of bad luck, but his good luck hit a home run to wake up Soda instead. Then Soda will come over and wake up the DR1/3 Veggies, and then everything will be okay.
I'm reaching far as fuck here, but
hina shouldn't be allowed to die.
she already died of old age since this is decades after they were knocked out.
>she's too pure and hopeful
Her 'hope' is a genocidal maniac and his homicidal fuckbuddy.
All 3 of them are the cause of this, though a third party is the one who instigated it.
While making Naegi suffer is probably a neat side bonus for Junko, the real goal here is to make Munakata drop the act and fall into despair. There is a definite grudge at work here, and I don't think it's really against Naegi.
I'm betting that
(real) Chiaki set this up as a VR simulation, and is using a copy of Junko to run the game. Chiaki wants to expose Munakata and his Mirai friends as being less the cure to the world's despair, but instead the root of it.
Old man and the teacher probably helped to create and evolve Junko into what she became. Rest of the cast probably has their own crimes as well.
Chiaki gets to expose the Future Foundation as being just as evil as the Despair they claim to fight, Junko gets one last opportunity to fuck with Naegi. The world gets to see their 'saviors' being a bunch of kill happy psychos while Naegi gets to show the world AGAIN that he's the only one who knows what the fuck is what.
>All of these Aoi faggots outing themselves out as sore losers.
Guess you know how it feels when a character you like gets brutally murdered now, no need to pretend it's bad writing because "Muh favorite didn't survive"
Aoi was a useless bitch anyway, what we she going to do? Find another laptop? Swim her way to an exit?
Good fucking riddens.
The twist is the 'killer' is injected with a mind control drug or their bracelet says they must kill someone when everyone else is asleep.
Super despair mode: the killers bracelet changes and says they must kill themselves when everyone else sleeps or everyone dies.
Ibuki already showed up last Thursday, so yes, Ibuki will be coming back.
Which was the outline of my post, what exactly can they do with her writing wise?
She was a useless bitch.
As soon as Sakura died she was no longer relevant, literally Sayaka but still alive.
>All 3 of them are the cause of this, though a third party is the one who instigated it.
Naegi started this by not killing the remnants
>implying she didn't agree with Munakata
What an autist. You probably think the remnants should go free for all their crimes too.
So what's the speculah this time?
to the moonor it's just simulator again?
THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING, AND I WAS STARTING TO LIKE HER, TOO
pls don't die based Kyoko
>All these faggots that are hating the anime if it kills a permanent member
>Think it's lazy writing that [spoilers]someone like Asahina died so soon and so pathetically[/spoiler]
Guess what? This has always been a thing. To all the previous characters.
They could've done quite literally anything but the good ole remove all tension around the leads inadvertently by trying to establish tension by killing off an established character
Even if you're just going to kill her, let Aoi develop in the plot just a tad so you don't have to shit it up for the leads. It's just a cheap shock death that only works on waifushitters or people aren't well versed in this thing called "fiction"
I called that ages ago.
Junko's clone will convince Naegi that both despair and hope are necessary, with Munakata being a clear example of what happens when someone tries to eliminate one or the other. She herself realized this after being beaten by him- her very despair at losing had given her hope which she quashed before it could root by killing herself.
And after stopping Munakata, Junko will tell Naegi that only he, with the strongest hope, can be a match for her, with the strongest despair.
And then they will have loving hatesex.
Say it with me now. COMPLEX-
Also, totally unrelated, but uh... How old is Yuta Asahina supposed to be? I thought a year younger than Aoi, but apparently that's wrong?
It's very clearly a different building but we don't know the end game's twist if it is or not
Anon, this is Danganronpa. I see that possibility happening even more in every fucking episode. You gotta be mentally prepared
>You're only allowed to kill off characters if X condition is met.
Yes, your murder mystery writing skills are so good that being fucking predictable is something you consider a plus to the story.
Shut the fuck up.
Nobody expected it, that's why it's good, get out of here with your cliched bullshit.
In that case you'd know the laziest way to have killed her off would actually be if she swapped places with happy smiling man by inadvertently breaking her forbidden rule in his place.
To kill of a well established and loved (by some) character like that would have been the absolute worst bullshit possible.
>And then they will have loving hatesex.
>Giving birth to the new DRv3 universe
Because when a character gets murdered you want it to have some impact on the audience.
Noone gave a shit about the housekeeper until the Zetsubou-hen episode aired and by the time this episode was over I had completely forgotten the annoying nig had died. Aoi was a good choice because we already knew her and with the next episode we'll get to know more of the cast.
Naegi and Kirigiri are not dying until the end anyway so the "safe meme" doesn't work
Errr no? The only one immune to her despair is Naegi. The only reason 78th Class were spared and didn't become her lackeys is because she wanted them specifically for her killing game. And their memories were erased because they wouldn't kill to leave when they knew they were in a shelter that was protecting them from the shithole outside.
>the protagonist is actually an android with the AI personalities of both Junko and Naegi uploaded in it
>tfw played DR1, DR2 and AE
>tfw seeing Aoi dying like that
Kodaka is a madman and must be stopped
It's literally the most clichèd thing possible
>nobody expected it
Are you fucking kidding me, there's a reason people were memeing about Asahina dying being leaked. She was easily the most likely to be killed, she didn't even need the barrage of death flags
>nobody expected it
You can quite literally not make this shit up
Can't say I do think that. Thematically it was to show that hope can slingshot anyone out of despair, though the remnants should still face consequences. But if they are reformed, it should be by spending their lives undoing the damage they did. At least, within the context and themes of Danganronpa. If this were real life the punishment should be death, since the real world doesn't care about thematical elements.
God the game they're playing in Mirai-hen feels like Zero Time Dilemma.
Will Hagakure wait 10 months?
Everyone assumed she'd die episode one.
And the massive butthurt from Aoi fags means they didn't brace for the hit.
Just because you want to pretend your predicted it when she was 1 of your 6 guesses on who would die doesn't mean it's not surprising, stop acting like your opinion is worth a shit.
I know it very well, too well to be honest
>implying the stakes haven't been raised
>implying you have any idea whether Naegi or Kyoko could die or not, besides just "LOL THEY WOULDN'T DO THAT, RIGHT?"
>implying Aoi's death isn't just giving you a false sense of security and the series couldn't go literally anywhere from here
How would you feel if Despair Chiaki showed up in Zetsubou-hen?
>lazy, pathetic, and failed
Funny considering the massive asshurt in this thread from shitters like yourself.
>"S-series dropped the ball"
Okay, have your little opinion, pretend your waifu dying is bad writing because you pretend to read books.
I'll be here laughing.
She could've carried the team by being
happy.Admit it, anon. You would gladly go through a killing game if you just got to see that adorable face every time you woke up.
Literally impossible outside of
the mastermind being Kyoko's never before mentioned twin brother, who's the son of Hajime and Junko fucking from the future.
And then he shoots Monomi and declares it "A GOOD THING"
The ending was pretty bad but the amount of pictures I have of "muh mindhack" is fantastic.
I don't give a shit about Aoi, I care more about the fact most of the tension has dissolved and the fact they went with the most common trick in the book
It's impossible to deny it's wasted potential
Are we gonna forget how retarded Juuzo and Yu sounds?
>We need to kill despair
>We need to kill enough here until we create hope
watching the broadcast which is either a ruse or a thingwill fucking hate those guys
Do you think Chihiro will show up in Zetsubou-hen?
>people saying MYSTERY IS SO EASY, MONAKA = WHEELCHAIR-CHAN
Does /a/ actually believe this?
>"Heh, I knew this would happen in one of the 13 episodes, not surprised in the slightest, writer is a hack"
I'm sure you'll eventually be here to tell us that when they murder Kirigiri because there's a 50/50 chance she'll die so in your mind you predicted it with unerring accuracy.
> who's the son of Hajime and Junko fucking from the future.
So what? Aoi's been developed as much as she could, useless shit of a character, it's much smarter to axe her off and develop someone with new ambitions and hopes and shit.
Aoi was wasted time, her getting axed opens the door for more interesting motherfuckers.
Can't develop every single person in a murder mystery friendo, it's not possible unless you want to bore everyone to death and be predictable as fuck.
Yes, but predicting she would die in one of the 13 episodes and pretending you're some clairvoyant is retarded.
High chance of dying=/= I predicted she would die.
Not only do you not know how or when, you also don't know who did it, it's retarded logic.
