I really want to go physical, probably going to start with the Nichijous DVDs, since the BD have an insane pricetag.

for what purpose?

just buy figs instead
discs are pointless, you are just going to watch the shows on your computer anyway
Both.
>sealed
I buy anime as well, but i see no reason in keeping it sealed. Anime has no real value whether sealed or not.

Half right at best, anon.
Discs are worthwhile if you're importing them, ie, not buying funimation localizations.
Otherwise just buy figs.

Tell that to the US Steins;Gate LE set going for $200 on amazon right now.

Have you seen what RahXephon blurays go for?
I download things to watch and if I really love them, I buy the DVD/VHS/LD/BD. If it doesn't get a domestic release I tend to just buy a poster, figure, or manga release to support it.

why would I care when I could just download it?
>>144325504
I buy physical blurays, rip them, and put the files on a 6TB media player for convience and to increase the longevity of the disk.
