This is whyseeing the White Whale becomes important information later.
But even if Subaru took such information and spun it as if he was some sort of seer, it isn't perfect. Arc 3 shows the checkpoint doesn't move when it's most convenient for Subaru in both the beginning and end. Once he establishes "proof" he can see the future, his reputation as such could easily be destroyed since the checkpoint for his time loop is unreliable.

With saying he is a seer or something like that he could say that something would happeb if they did a certain something. If that didn't work just kill himself. By now he must have at least got some fast acting poison or now how to kill himself fast. Sure it's painful but you need that time. This is where it gets interesting. Naturally things would only be different because of Subaru, but that is because it would be nearly impossible to replicate your actions perfectly from the last loop. Any deviation, small or large, (including telling someone about the future) could have a butterfly effect, and make his predictions wrong. Remember the second loop in the manor? His change in attitude (and change in the initial chunk of time after meeting rem/ram) changed things enough to the point he couldn't predict what would happen next. Even if he tried his best to replicate his actions from loop to loop, he would likely miss a minor detail, and his predictions could be altered as a result.
That being said, were I in his shoes I would have at least tried, and I do think he is foolish for not trying.

Well the idea is that he's the protagonist, and as such, should have a little more development than he's had thus far. Everyone else is a secondary character, there's no real need for them to grow or adapt unless there's a reason for it. It all comes down to the fact that Subaru has acted like this since the beginning, not just that it's annoying in this particular instance. He never gets any smarter. He doesn't have to keikaku his way to victory immediately but his development is excruciatingly slow. I could easily see him receiving no development at all, just bumbling through the plot without ever becoming more than he is now.
