I enjoyed the whole thing without needing to create a moral outrage at the fate of a fictional character in a gag series. It didn't leave me dumbfounded, I completely expected it.
The animation, voice acting, music and direction was above average in a mediocre season. There were multiple threads about this and I still can't grasp how people say it's shit without resorting to moral arguments.

It was a good show all the same, I can agree, but I don't think it stood out much as to compared to Tanaka or Flying Witch. Kuma Miko was pretty funny at times, but for the most part felt lacking.
I'm not entirely against how it ended, but it wasn't expected.

I very much prefer the humour in Kuma Miko than the long drawn out scenes in the other shows.

Why would you assume that? I've done it with plenty of series m8. Aria is one of my favourites and Natsume Yuujinchou was one of the first series I watched when I started getting into anime.
I just happen to have a standard for "comfy" shows and these two did not hit the mark. Kuma Miko didn't either but it was a comedy series which is what I enjoyed it as.

..and I just recently finished Kuma Miko, and this gut-wretching feeling that lingers in my stomach. I feel sick and disgusted on the final episode, and I was in the verge to call it AOTS until the Sendai Arc came along and destroyed everything. I daresay SS holds my AOTS medal so far, moving on to Haifuri now.

Your taste is just shit. I was severely offended by the first few episodes because the main cast didn't have dynamic because they're just talking about food, but then the ex-maid and Nishimura came along, and the episodes got 100x better. It grew on me since then, and I love it. I'll watch them soon, don't worry.

Luluco, Flying Witch/Tanaka-kun, and Re:Zero all stood above almost everything else for their own reasons. I personally enjoyed Joker's game but can admit it was shit.
