They have no issue with the characters' names. Although rewatching the first episode to check, they also left the country as Japan and stated Cindy Stone came back from America, which would've been a huge hassle to edit since the episode showed a pic of her at the Statue of Liberty and a Japanese passport. So I guess CR is being consistent with itself, although they're doing a weird mix of translation and localization overall.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting what you meant or you what I meant. My understanding is that in the game, the photograph lacks the bullet hole in the robe while the robe in the evidence has it (thus pointing it out means you raise the possibility of the person wearing the robe being somebody else). In the anime, the bullet hole is in the photograph itself. What I mean is that it being in the photograph in the anime contradicts what the game goes on to do with the robe as a piece of evidence. Am I being clear?
