This is probably really petty of me but there's a single anime scene that was a major disappointment for me and that'sthe scene from OPM where Metal Knight lands his robot drone on the roof during his first appearanceIt's so amazingly well done in the manga, but the anime decides to completely obscure everything except the very last part where he raises his head with a cloud of smoke and steam.

I think the lack of nips actually worked in the show's favour. I can't articulate why this is, but I remember an anon explaining why this was really well around the time the BDs were released, but alas I can't remember his reasoning.
