Let talk about Re:Zero
(Spoilers welcome)
What do you think of the show so far? (As of ep 15?)
I have read only the prologue of the light novel and some bits chapter 3 & 4. Seen, very well plan out, like the writting is very thought out.
I feel the light novel give (a little) more detail to the story because it's a novel lol.
I already want to buy the light novel!!!
It's really got good story telling!

The show started out really well. I always judge concepts like this by how the antagonist acts in relation to how I think I'd act.
When he attacked the muggers and won I was pleasantly surprised. The next few episodes do little to live up to the first episode hype though, although I must say the mystery solving and him interacting with characters that killed him in different timelines is pretty cool.
The progression has been slow for the past few episodes. I really wanted to see him take advantage of the time loop and greatly improve his skills but he keeps being useless.
I dunno if it deserves anime of the year, the year is only half way done and it wouldn't be too hard to top.

This anime is masterpiece.
I don't know if it's actually that good or I'm just hooked in because of the setting and time travel but this over the top scene was one of the funniest thing I've watched in all of anime.
