Is there an anime better than the manga?
I thought that Full Moon wo Sagashite's anime was better than the manga.
It's about music so obviously you can actually listen to the songs (which were all very good.)
The edgy parts (rape and shit) were cut out, too and the ending was much happier.

Generally comedies are better due to voices bringing more life to the characters.
The most recent one I can think of is konosuba. Not to shit on the decent source material, but the jokes and overall tone of it comes across way better as an anime.

Recently aired Mob if its keeps that quality, Monster?,Fma, hajime no ippo, jojo, attack on titan. So yea quite a lot are either on par or better than their source manga

There's plenty of shows where the manga is pretty barebones and the adaptation has a disproportionate amount of effort put in. Or stuff like >>144162623 mentioned: jojo (but only the 2012 series, parts 3 and 4 are not on par with the manga), AoT and Ippo where it's clear the adaptation is a labour of love with a lot of care put into adapting the work faithfully and fixing minor issues with the original where it's not intrusive.
There's also the rare case of something like Soul Eater where the anime is at first trashed because of having a shitty original ending, but when the manga ends with something pretty much just as bad the flaws of the anime become a lot less pronounced and the strengths over the manga show through.

I'd still say that apart of that (and QUALITY memeing aside) it was just as good as if not better than the manga for the parts it covered.
I'd like to point out that Soul Eater's anime was also really good up until they had to make shit up. Hell, even then it was mostly just the courage punch that was retarded.
