The Handa-kun manga is hilarious. Anime is promising, even if the first half of the episode seemed designed to turn viewers off.

It wasn't funny. I'm not even a muh comfy Barakamon fag, I was actually interested in a high school spin off for Handa. But holy shit that was not humorous at all, even the second half. I'm still optimistic that it will get better.
