But for fuck's sake at least not have the other world be a 1:1 copy of JRPGs. It's far better when there is something unexpected that the MC has to adapt to.
A good example of this was Oda Nobuna. MC is a big fan of Sengoku Jidai games, so uses that knowledge to alter history. BUT because of this, his information gets less and less useful since he's altering the timeline and he can no longer predict shit with good accuracy. So the result is the MC has to grow and rely on his own skills, not just cheats.

Assuming you could, though, the aerodynamics of a bullet sliced in half lengthwise are way different from those of a whole bullet, and the flight path of the two bullet halves would be super erratic.
