Synopsis:

How so? Seems like only to people who expected a linear non-episodic plot with a conclusion. But the atmosphere was fantastic, albeit some of it overplayed here and there. A slow burner like Rakugo, that just played out over the course of the season; they both came full loop and ended as they began.

You can tell he's going to be buddy-buddy with the don's son, planning to kill him he finds out he's a good guy trying to reform the family.
The final shot of the anime will be them pointing guns at each others and the scene will close before we found out if the shot or not.
