Exactly this, including dropping after 6. I found the show to be wooden and lifeless, the dialog was stilted and parceled out like individual fortune cookies, and I didn't feel an interest in any of the characters except Inukai because of her predicament. The Tsugaru backgrounds were excellent, hats off to Moon Flower and Studio Beam, but the show was otherwise a write-off for me.
