Eh, let's be honest. This year's power gap between rank 8 (less than a quarter million votes) and rank 2 (almost three quarter million votes) is way too high.
Last year when the Shinganz lost by a measly 35 or so votes was a lot closer, and was when people here could have made a difference.
As for SB69, people are too busy retweeting the game constantly in order to get those rewards for when the relaunch starts. That takes priority to the Sanrio popularity character ranking.

Probably less than season 1 overall, but perhaps still somewhat good enough.
What matters more for a potential third season will be if the second season brought in enough new people becoming interested in the mobage, and through it made them bought music singles of the original bands and the tie-in bands (most important part), if the merchandise like cute clothes and plushies and figurines and headsets and purses and keychains still sells a lot and so on.
We'll probably have to wait till Winter 2016/2017 or even Spring season 2017 for season 2 anyway.

Actually, when I watched the Mickey Mouse shorts, I was kinda surprised how much gags and contents they could cram into three and a half minute per episode without making it overburdening.
It all depends on how good Ikezoe is at making those scenes funny and enjoyable.
I hope we won't have to wait too long for fansubs of the shorts.
