The best eroge protagonist is this (literal) motherfucker. Don't get me wrong, I hate the guy as much as the next anon, but he was a damn good protagonist.
He did everything you yell at the protagonist to do, he was an asshole about it and handled it like shit, but is the truth, he had no regrets for his actions and was always true to his morals and ambitions, which yeah might be twisted as fuck, but unlike Shirou he was no hypocrite.
Yes, he got lucky at first (like almost every single other MC out there), but after a while he actively pursued other partners instead of just having "lucky sex" or shit like MUH MANA TRANSFER.
He fucked both sisters and the mother, and that's not even the tip of his harem.
But also, unlike most MC, in the end he did got what he deserved, be it a good end or a bad end it was all the result of his own actions, no deus ex machina, it was all his own fault.
