Top anime of the season for me.
Didn't even want to watch it at first since I thought Kuma would be enough of slice anime for the season but it turned out worse than I expected after several episodes so grasped for other options like Tanaka and Witch. No regrets.

It was quite possibly the only series this season that's second half was better than its first. Once all the characters had been introduced it really hit its stride.
Solid 8/10, potential AOTS for many, my favourite OP of the season, glad I decided to try it, hope it gets a second season some day.

Nah. It felt lacking. I don't know why, There was no individual part that really irritated me. But the sum of things just failed to click with me.
Watches the first 14 minutes and dropped it. Realised it was a boring show with poor animation but it would get of free because of this retarded "comfy" meme that /v/ created.
Save for episode 5, it got better each episode. It was only middle of the pack at the start of the season, but by the end I thought of it as the silver medal for spring.

My only issue is that it doesn't feel like enough happens per episode. Not in a "this show needs a plot" kind of way, but sometimes it just seems like the characters do so little in an episode that nothing actually happened. They need to fill it out a little more.

Long ago, there was this video game called Dreams to Reality, where your character is thrown into the dreamscape, the realm of all dreams. I remember very little about that game, but there was one portion of the game, near the beginning i think when you are first granted flight powers, where you have to fly from one floating island to the next by flying next to a flying whale who had an aura of magic that you needed to leech off of to get there. Game was janky, full of bugs, controlled like a headache, but that one section was fucking powerful to me as a kid. I really like the whale scene in this manga.

I enjoyed it quite a lot because of how comfy it was. The thing is the show was rather empty so I'd always end up daydreaming as I watched. I'm not saying it's a bad thing per se though, just pointing that out.
Also, seriously, the girls were just way too hot. Main girl and the little loli especially. These leg/ass shots were always made on purpose, the studio perfectly knew what they were doing, and it was rather distracting (in a good way I suppose). I don't know if you guys were feeling that way too.

Went into this expecting it to be shit. Ended up being my favorite show of the season. It was just comfy and cute, didn't try to take itself too serious while still staying fun about a boring topic like farming in the boonies.

One of the best shows I've seen in a long time. One of the major faults I find with a lot of chracters in anime is that they try to get them to fall into some kind of niche so they're memorable (which isn't bad unless used too often), but flying witch really just made them all feel like average people. It was a refreshing change that let me appreciate the atmosphere that much more without stopping to focus on Ren-chon's latest autismal feat.
I've got a bunch of younger cousins right around Chinatsu's age and I could see them doing every single thing that she did. The whole going to sleep in the robe thing got me good at the end.
