FUCK GUILTY CROWN. It's probably not the worst anime I've ever lain eyes upon, but I watched the whole thing and GOOD GOD did it suck. It's very pretty to look at. But the plot is like a shittier Code Geass, and I hated every single one of the characters. I kept watching it hoping it would get better, they kept hinting that maybe they had some good ideas in there, but NO. It just gets worse and worse and then it just ends out of fucking nowhere and we see the MC drinking tea in a sweater vest and I can't tell if I should be pissed at how inconclusive it was or just be glad that it was finally over.

I still think a fair bit of SAO hate is just generated by Fairy Dance, rather than having an overpowered MC. Mahouka has Onii-sama, by far more powerful than KiririnUnless he can't use decomp, and you don't see people shitting on it with such great volume.
