Plus not only was he a super asshole but he was somewhat justified in trying to avenge his friends and protect his people's livelihood. It doesn't absolve him of any wrongdoings since he did a LOT wrong but it was refreshing. Plus he was very well written and the way Araki tied the flashback with him into the modern day plot was phenomenal. I'm not sure if he can top this last arc with whatever comes next but I hope he does.

Part 6 is good in how well paced it is. Almost every chapter is directly related to the plot and the characters all have much more going on than the cast of part 5.
Part 6 fails in how needless its plot is and how the stand powers become the most nonsensical in the series. There are many occasions where you won't know whats going on and are just expected to keep reading for shit to start making sense.

Hey, I figured I'd check this place out.
I started watching the anime about a year ago and loved every bit of it, still watching and waiting
and today I plan on reading the manga, is there anything I missed from parts 1-3/4 that I'd want to go back and see?
