I swear some of you guys don't actually like Hachiman as a character sometimes. All his interactions with everyone and his growth from it is there for a reason. Yui and most of the other characters can't "easily be taken out", it'd be a different fucking story altogether.
The story is focused aroud Hachiman's development as a person, period. Yukino isn't "the entire story"and it's a very waifufag-y thing to even say to be honest, she's part of it (the most important part, but still just a part nonetheless).
Just stick to fanfiction if you want Hachiman and Yukino acting lovey-dovey with each other with absolutely nothing else going on.

Both are equally conventionally attractive anime girls by design. Neither one is particularly fetish-pandering in terms of design. No twintails, no cowtits, no flat chests, etc...

I mean Yukino isn't BAD or anything in my opinion, she's definitely very cute in her dere moments; but beyond that she's kind of unpleasant and autistic in general, so I the only real justification to choose her over Yui is if you're into that whole "fixing" concept, which frankly I'd say is unjustifiable here.
I know this isn't purely an anime thing, it's prevalent in the west too; like midlife crisis try to 'save' a hooker and lose everything; happens every now and then to seemingly normal non-stupid people.
