I really hope it's a faithful adaptation to a certain extent. The amount of talking and political bullshit and mistery is actually what makes Shingeki no Kyojin good, belive it or not. It's just that most normies just attached to it being "epic titan battles" because, well, they do tend to be pretty stupid.
I've always defended that this is a good series and i think this season's Kotetsujou no Kabaneri is an exemple of what this series could have been if it was actually bad. I hope they don't add a bunch of bullshit to the show just to appease people who wants to see dumb battles 99% other anime already have.
