Not necessarily for the entire industry but at the very least, hobbyists who want to make cool stuff. 3D models are infinitely reusable and speed up the animation process so smaller dedicated teams can jump in and make their own stuff. I have a bad habit of letting other peoples opinions affect my feelings about a show. When someone criticizes something I like it make me question if I should really be liking it. Except on certain titles like FMA Brotherhood or GitS SAC. I know I should like what I like and not care what other people think but I still try to fit in a little. For example I avoid the big shounen shows because your supposed to and not because I've actually seen them and decided to not like them. This probably sounds worse than it is though.

I tried Mushoku Tensei because one anon recommended it to me along with Overlord in a light novel thread. I actually did enjoy the read for a while but had to dropped on chapter 140 because the MC was an unbearable cunt, what with being hebophile, having sex with just about anyone and everyone who'd spread her legs for him on a whim, and even committing adultery because "hurr durr sex cheers you up when you're feeling down xD". By the time he was planning on having a threesome, I was done with that piece of shit. Literally the only series I dropped because of my hatred for the MC.
Also the written was terrible. All character were incredibly cliché, the series followed the most generic tropes, and the MC was overpowered as fuck. Simply put: the series was a self-inserting, wish fulfillment, power fantasy. The series is one of the more popular light novels on /a/ so I can't help but feel like I failed somehow.
