I might be alone in this one, but I don't think the story structure of overlord is good for anime adaptions. There are action driven parts, but most of the time the character are developed trough inner monologues or discussion where they don't need to be animated. Best thing for Ainz to do is to just sit in Nazarick and build power and self-sufficiency. What he shouldn't do is go around flexing his power.
