Horikoshi has a habit of doing the opposite of what we expect him to do and a timeskip seems too obvious.
I think All-Might is going to end up continuing teaching in this form and we'll get some time focusing on the cast and their relationship with All-Might up until Stain and All For One break out of jail.
We'll probably get a pretty badass Stain vs One For All fight, probably will end in some kind of stalemate.
All-Might will probably be tricked into going somwhere to meet Shigaraki and end up getting humiliated by both One For All and Shigaraki and be killed off-panel.
Eventually Deku (maybe alongside Bakugou) show up and find All-Might's dead body.
Crazy fight breaks out and Deku gets fucking destroyed injured.
Maybe One For All dies somehow, I'd really like to see a furious Endeavor get his revenge for his rival being emasculated, and then killed with nobody to even know or care.
Shigaraki realizes he has to step shit up hardcore now that One For All is gone, Deku realizes that shit is going to get real and also has to step shit up.
Deku goes off to train more with Gran Torino, Bakugou goes off to train with Endeavor and Prince Zuko, other students find people to train with.
We get a final chapter where it's revealed finally that the police dude is in fact evil and that the police are getting ready to do some crazy shit. Probably using the Noumu as weapons like somebody else theorized.
Then we'll get a timeskip that opens mise en scene in a world where heroes have been banned for public safety, the police are running an oppressive war against both heroes and villains.
The students, now a bit older form a Justice League of sorts, but one that is technically against the law. True vigilantes, and do their best to fight the police, as well as investigate whatever Shigaraki is up to.
Not sure where the series would go from here, but this series has so much potential on where it could possibly go.

What if the Police end up making some kind of twisted deal with Shigaraki organization for information of Noumu production.
Shigaraki all the while has a plan to fuck over the police through this agreement, but the police end up fucking over Shigaraki because when it comes down to it he's an over emotional kid with too much on his shoulders and not enough experience with these kind of plans and deals.
There could be a neat fight where the police boss dude finally reveals his quirk when he fucks over Shigaraki and really fucks over Shigaraki yet Deku and friends end up saving him.
Police boss guy ditches because I feel like he's not all that of an offense based fighter, he's more a brain, and doesn't want to take on the Teen Tians.
Shigaraki obviously at first wants nothing to do with Deku and friends, and goes off an does his own thing for a bit, learns more about his familial lineage, and decides to join Deku and friends as a hero to take down the crooked police system and bring heroes back to society.
