This, A-1 is a fucking garbage mass production company that subsists on hype and event tickets nowadays. They were at least okay back then as was Sawano when he wasn't absolutely fucking everywhere and they didn't have like 20 ongoing projects at any given time, but now they're literally just a commercial bitch with too many projects to try to manage and not enough actual demand or manpower to sustain all of them. If they were going to do a new season they should have done it a few years ago when they still sort of had the capacity to give a shit or had a less cluttered schedule. It's also going to be no sooner than late 2017 and if it is earlier expect some other project they have to get pushed back even further or look all the worse for it.
Just really bad reckless project management.

If it will be S2 (starting from the ball game between Shura and Yukio), then it will be airing like in winter 2017.
Now I am hyped as it would potentially mean another arc after current one (Shura and the snake) could potentially be animated as the ending to the series, which would mean it should be hype as fuck.

Yeah, Impure King Arc was quite good and it is starting point for ILLUMINATI arc.
Yukio gets a "rival" you could say an antonym, to his "I am (half)demon but I want to be human, bwaaaaah".
Pink head has an interesting reveal.
Fox summoner has nice arc.
And now we had Shura arc with some Yukio development here and there.
The only thing I hate it's that sometimes they have too much focus on Rin and "oh noes, I'm in trouble! I hope Rin saves me!" mentality.

There's lots of manga that are monthly and still progress at a steady pace, AnE is just incredibly slow for no apparent reason other than the mangaka is just shit at planning a story so she wastes a lot of time on irrelevant shit instead of going back to the main plot.
