I felt like watching some /e/ related shit and remember I've been meaning to watch this, then found out theres like 4 seasons and several ovas.
Watch it all is a must? or can I skip here and there, just want something quick.

Each season has its own linear plot. And new characters are introduced each season so yes, you should watch them in order. Keep in mind that the first season's artstyle is considerably more primitive than later seasons.
Knowing about Romance of the 3 Kingdoms and which characters correspond to who enhances your enjoyment of the series.

only the first season followed the mango plot I think. it was made by jc staff and didn't look as good. the later seasons had more titties but the plot was mostly anime original. watching order is ikkitousen with no subtitle > dragon destiny > great guardian > xtreme xecutor > first ova > second ova > third ova.

shit man, my first anime after dragon ball was probably Ranma 1/2, I'm still kinda surprised at how straight I ended up.
I tried watching this but I only got three episodes in or something before I lost interest. Too stupid for me and not enough promise of boobs.
