Shin's virginity has been pissing me off lately. I have a lingering suspicion that Shin only hates Kanki because he gets to fuck the women he brings to his camp and Shin doesn't.

Soon, hopefully

Those "night after the battle" comedic relief chapters could be exponentially improved with a little fucking or flirting together in their tent in the last few pages. But I doubt the author has the balls to do something like that. A hero must be a virgin (or have sex once around every 20 volumes), although I was hoping for a relationship like Ou Ki and Kyou.

I'd worship him if the author's balls were big enough to give Shin a Ten/Kyoukai bigamy. And Kingdom would be one of the greatest masterpieces of all time if he gets a Kyoukai/Ten/Unnamed political wife harem.

Kanki should have Shin rape a peasant girl and teach him the way of edge.
>>
Why doesn't Kanki just tell his plans rather than keep smirking endlessly that his plans will work? It's obvious that he's going to kill the villagers just to get that beloved leader to give up their position just to stop the slaughter. It's sadistically brilliant but why not tell Shin about it rather than just tell everyone that everything is in the bag?
I honestly think this is the flaw Kaisha saw before dying. Probably what Riboku will use against Kanki to humiliate him.
Kanki is a genius and everything works to his advantage like he envisions, but if things don't do to plan, his troops don't know what to do and end up fending for themselves. That's a ridiculous amount of disarray among the troops.

Yeah, and Shin has a valid counterargument because of what he experienced with that creepy fucker Mangoku.

>it's keeping the virginity dense mindset from shonen despite being surrounded with murder everywhere.

I fully do not comprehend why Shin had that extra chapter rescuing a girl from her forced engagement and setting up a booty call. He didn't fuck her and there has been no indication that he has, even though he promised to visit her.
>>142831881
That's where the viking mercenaries went wrong with Thorfinn and look what that got us. Just fuck someone. You're on the battlefield and easy on the eyes. Shin or Thorfinn are like 100x hotter than any man roughly 99% of the women they meet would get to have consensual sex with in their lifetime.
>>
Shin is such a faggot when it comes to things like this.
>>
>>142832901
Shin doesn't have a valid counterargument because Kanki isn't doing pointless mass slaughter. He's killing the villagers because they're hiding weapons (allegedly) and the deaths of all those people will be used as a bargaining chip to win the battle with minimal loss. Plus Kanki is going to tell Shin that he's forcing everyone to accept a unified China when the reality will be a dictatorship. A peace through domination and fear, over a sea of blood and corpse.
If anything, Shin's the one being immature. I predict that Shin will have the highest honors of the battle for killing Keisha but won't feel it was an accomplished win after Kanki rubs it in that it was all according to keikaku.

Remember that chapter where Ten got kidnapped?
>Big scary General Rapist captures Ten
>"lol virgins"
>Shin rallies the new Hi Shin unit to lead a daring and dangerous rescue/negotiation
>Hi Shin unit like "why tho, she u woman m8?"
>"She's my family!"
>heroic music playing in the background
>nakama power
>"Oh hey Ten, you're back already. Good job."
>"(why didn't he ask me about my hymen...?)
>>
>>142820213
I don't know why Shin is acting all surprised. Everyone in Qin knows this is what Kanki does and he even told him himself earlier. This is actually pretty small compared to burying 200,000 people alive like Qin did before to Zhao.
>>
>>142833329
>"(why didn't he ask me about my hymen...?)
Because he doesn't ask the obvious. He even says ''yeah, I know''.

It's funny how most women in war (except maybe Karen) follow men to fuck them.
>>
>>142833180
>Shin doesn't have a valid counterargument
Missed the point dumbass. Do you even remember Mangoku? He almost took the manga into the supernatural genre because of peasant killing.

Dude had like an army of ghosts behind him and was dangerous as fuck. That's what made Shin realize fair warfare, without pointless slaughter, is the only way to prevent monsters like Mangoku from being created, and threatening the peace of China after unification.

Also my suspicion is that Sei sent Shin with Kanki so that Shin would tame Kanki because Sei, while disapproving of his methods, can't get rid of such an impressive military mind who holds such pull with raiders and the like.
>>
>>142833373
>200,000 people alive like Qin did before to Zhao.
It was 400,000 actually. But just because it happened in the past doesn't mean Shin can't try to enforce bullshit standards.
>>
>>142833507
>Mangoku
Oh, wrong guy, yeah the creepy guy who continued the cycle of violence.

Yeah I guess you're right. Still, the method Kanki used will end the battle to his favor.

>>
>>142834120
I don't think so. Nobody knows Keisha is dead yet, unless Kanki guessed it somehow. But he certainly wouldn't know Shin killed him.
>>
>>142834347
I expect Kanki will probably forgive them for insulting him when he's told Shin and co effectively decapitated the enemy force in a single strike. Hell, he'll probably shift tactics from killing villagers to lure out the defenders to a more aggressive stance in order to exploit that massive, glaring weakness. Or hell, maybe he already knows and doesn't give a shit.

Mate, what do you think the different states are? No one's living in democracies here. Even if Kanki weren't a bandit, I doubt that sort of argument would come from his lips.

I'd guess he'll accuse Shin's unification of directly and indirectly causing damages on a far greater scale than Kanki ever could. While sitting in self-righteousness. If Kanki's different clans are people who fled and became bandits due to other wars, it could fit with his backstory.
>>
>>142833180

I'm waiting for Kanki to tell Shin his hand gets cut off, due to the agreement, then Shin drops the bomb of killing Keisha.

Then I expect the story about the three but now two generals from the villagers story coming from Kyoukai telling Kanki how he fucked up by targeting the villages. He could have had a demoralized enemy, but with the killing of innocents riling up the remaining two, the battle is now far from over.

True. 99% of the time when a shounen/seinen MC finally gets to stick their flaky uncut dick into the sweet flower of the female lead said lead will become pregnant (guess they're premature ejaculaters or something).

Maybe that's the reason harem protags don't fuck their harem, because they'd be facing the demon lord with a bunch of 5-9 month pregnant support characters.

They've been around the block a few times with this. It was heavily foreshadowed when they mentioned armies that work with Kanki end up disappearing and then how swapping soldiers is a tradition in the Kanki army.

I mean I don't even know how far along Ryofui's trial is, so yeah.

I wonder where Shin's power level is at. I'd think a fully rested Shin would be able to fight Houken at this point with a 45:55 spread.

I'd imagine he could kick Kanki's ass in a 1v1.

In short term engagements she is easily the strongest in the series, but because warfare usually is about the campaign, you rarely get to see her in peak condition, if ever.

Shin on the other hand is this freak of nature.

Plus Kyoukai naturally would help Shin out to get ahead, since Kyoukai would feel it's easily doable to gain credit for herself anytime she wants anyways. It'd be hard to stay under the HSU when she ranks higher than Shin and has a bigger army.
>>
>>142843823
>In short term engagements she is easily the strongest in the series, but because warfare usually is about the campaign, you rarely get to see her in peak condition, if ever.

>Shin on the other hand is this freak of nature.

I loved how they showed this off in the series - her and Shin training, Kyo slashes his arm but Shin just flexes his muscles to close the wound.
>>
>>142844038
Well he is historically Riboku's nephew. But in the manga he is an orphan, and the only theory of how he gets in the Ri clan is through marriage/adoption with the palace girl's friend who is conveniently part of a military family of which the history Ri Shin / Li Xin is born from. Chances are this is how Shin will get justification to be granted the title of general or great general despite being a slave boy or some shit.
>>
>>142844038
I've been waiting for Shin to trying imitating that Ton Ton Ton thing Kyoukai does again. He tried it once during their first few chapters of bonding/sparring.

I think it must be Kingdom's version of Kaio-ken.
>>
>>142843523
>stronger
I mean, if you call that strength. It appears to me that Kyoukai wouldn't have nearing enough to stamina to outmatch Shin if they ever seriously went at it. She's like a sprinter who can only run 10 of the 100 meters and then has to jog the rest. I wouldn't consider a sprinter like that to be particularly "fast".
>>
>>142844382
>I've been waiting for Shin to trying imitating that Ton Ton Ton thing Kyoukai does again. He tried it once during their first few chapters of bonding/sparring.

No he didn't. He asked her to teach him, but she said he doesn't have the body for it.

>>142844433
But all it takes is a few exchanges for her to kill Shin if they really go at it. The difference is that when Kyoukai goes for real she isn't exactly in fine control over life and death because she's pushing herself to the limit.

Shin spars basically with the intention to kill, cause he's inferior and has complete faith in Kyoukai, not to mention he doesn't exhibit ridiculous speed nor power, simply a lot of guts and fortitude. He's in a lot better position to go all out without worrying about not being able to hold back.

A deep dance Kyoukai would murder Shin with ease.
>>
>>142844718
>all it takes is a few exchanges for her to kill Shin

>killing Shin

Stopped reading right there. Shin will survive a nuclear holocaust.
>>
>>142844747
He does it because history wills it, by your logic Sei would survive a straight up with Houken. It doesn't make Sei capable of fending Houken off.

The series is very consistent in it's power levels amusingly enough. Kingdom has a 90%+ accuracy rate when judging battles with the data book numbers, and the only exceptions so far are Ouki vs Houken and Duke Hyou vs Houken both using the power of MUH WEIGHT, but even that is simply a mere misunderstanding if you actually pay attention.

Houken was being a retard and assumed his shallow wounds meant nothing, but obviously that was never the case, and Ouki not only is mounted but has a pole arm while enraged while Houken has a few holes in his body bleeding out. Naturally there was also the point that Houken wasn't actually as strong as Ouki at that point, but he basically reflected and only addressed a single point of his problems.

The standards Houken put on himself at that time was being absolutely invincible, and he acts like a man child about it, instead of being realistic about it. What comes out of that is his obsession with Ouki, leading to his inability to control his emotions which leads to his body not performing as he trained it to.

It's practically spoon fed by Riboku himself during Bayou, but Riboku can't tell him, cause it's also hinted that Houken's personality may be closer to the likes of Shin than that of a path seeker. While he can go full blooded killing machine like Kyoukai, he doesn't have the means to prevent people from stirring his heart and breaking him out of 'the zone' which is what the priestess dance does.

Ironically it's because of Houken's obsessive personality that he's able to achieve the training he does, putting forth Ouki as his goal.

Historically Kyoukai was a man, so it will be ten or some nameless girl. Could be a bigamy too though, but the developement seems to be going towards Ten romance and Kyoukai rivalry, though frankly they could also go for a Ouji mirror thing. Either way I doubt Ten gets left out should romance be introduced.

Ten and Shin have no chemistry for a relationship.

I honestly think it would be cool if she becomes his advisor while Shin and Kyokai are the main general couple.

They have the best chemistry. She's literally the level head in the relationship. It's like the Revy Rock relationship, ones a weapon, the other uses the weapon.

>>142845110
Sounds more like a Toguro brother relationship
>>
>>142845159
I mean there is obviously the sibling relationship of the beginning part of the story, but it's obvious that Ten will be at least an aspect of any romantic relationship with Shin. They wouldn't just completely cuck her.
Also historically Kyou was a man, so I doubt they'd change the history that hard.

Except Shin has feeling for Kyokai not Ten. Look Ten is smart and has a tsundere personality but she is too young for the guy.

>too young
not in that era. Shes almost christmas cake material

I know Shin is heading down the instinctual general route but would it kill the author to give him mentors along the way to improve his schemes and brain power? I like his aggressive bull rush method like the next guy but a little change in how economical he is would be good for the character. Don't get me wrong, I don't want him on the level of Riboku but just smarter in battle and not sacrifice half his fucking army.

Shin has feelings for any girl that shows romantic interest in him.
>>
>>142845328

Speaking of interest in him, why isn't he getting swooned by a bunch of chicks in his home country?

>Good looking
>Tall
>Powerful
>Next stop in being a general
>Respected by his men

Shin should be having fan girls all over him but we don't see that.

Also would it kill the author to show Shin getting adjusted to having money and status now every now and then?
>>
>>142845383
Hasn't he had a couple of people swooning on him and him acting all giggly? I feel like I've seen that scene but maybe it was in Vinland or Historie or something.

he just has a lot of souls

Can Sei close wounds by flexing? Can Sei receive gashes 4 inches deep and brush it off 5 pages later? You completely missed the point of the post.

I want both of them dying in Chu and for Shin to hook up with palace girl.
Someone theorized that Shin needs to marry an important military person in order to become an influential great general, and that he apparently changes his name to something else. Since we don't know the palace girl's last name, it's an interesting reveal.
>>
>>142845813
I'd actually imagine that happens. I can see a harem with Ten and Kyoukai happening along with that though. That seems to not be a big deal in this era
>>
>>142845496
Exactly.

None of those matter given the disparity between Kyoukai on Mega A. Shin gets stronger as he gets more heated up, he would die before he can mount any sort of real retaliation against Kyoukai, should this hypothetical situation come to pass.

The fact that Houken while in bushin mode aka no distractions was having trouble fending off 94+Big A Kyoukai should give you ample understanding of just how impossible the match up would be for Shin. To put it even further, Kyoukai's current alpha is the very same that allowed a battered and beaten Kyoukai to dominate 95+Big A Yuuren, who was tied for the second/first strongest character in the series with her.

Shin's greatest advantage is in his endurance in a mud fight. What difference does that make when he has no way to prevent his head from coming off his neck? You're basically saying Shin is a machine gun and he has a lot of ammo, how does it matter when Kyoukai is a sniper rifle and kills you in the first shot?

This is also the same series where guys like Denyuu and Ryuusen can get 5 inch deep wounds and be peppered with arrows and still stay alive. The same series where guys like Houken and Denyuu can have their neck arteries cut and still be fine with some cloth bandages.

Don't over exaggerate Shin's prowess due to his healing powers.
