These are the three template types of NTR. There are many other situations that can be considered NTR but these are the most basic.
Netorare Type A: The heroine is willingly cheating on the protagonist with another guy and enjoys every second of it. No rape, blackmail, drugs etc. involved, it's consensual sex from the very beginning.

Now you may be confused due to this muddying up the line between the cheating genre and NTR genre. The person being cheated on has to be well established in the story and play a bigger part a man getting cucked instead of a basically faceless husband (like those vanilla milf doujins) who's busy and rarely seen in panels or anything similar to that.

The most simplest way to judge whether or not something is NTR is by looking at it like this:
