I'm thinking some of the danger of DC might be somewhat overstated- Mereum was an absolute anomaly, hell even the queen and the royal guards were. Most CA obviously aren't as strong as Mereum and even that chart seems to refer to the ants in general and not royal guards or the King.

And it cleaned his clock so hard that he used his servants to come back and then died anyway. Any sizable human country could throw out bajillions of those fuckers and the most powerful of the ants would be nothing to them.

-Archangel's breath has extremely severe restrictions
-Machi can stitch wounds, but hasn't shown the ability to heal beyond re-attaching things and restoring function.
-Pitou's Doctor Blythe is essentially a nen surgeon, as well as creates corpse puppets. But Pitou is pretty helpless when it's out and it requires a lot of time.
-Nanika can heal, but it requires immense energy and tires Nanika out (which is remarkable considering how easily Nanika destroys things).

Does oxygen deprivation not exist in this series? It wasn't quite one piece level of blood loss last I checked (netero having to plotkai his leg muscles enough to stop the bleeding).
It could be sheer abhorrent contrivance if he planned to die via suffocation, thus allow what little oxygen was in his lungs to be used to revive him.
This revival went a little to far what was believable given the rules in universe so far.
Clinically dead, at least trained murder machines believed he was dead and gone. So his heart/lungs couldn't have been pumping the much needed oxygen to his brain. He should be a fucking vegetable at best.
