The animation is fucking incredible for its time and you can see all the hard work put into it by just how fluid the animation is.

Yes. It explores the world in depth and also has some epic arcs that didn't make it to the film. It's pretty long though, but it kept me engaged for the whole ride.

Watched it for the first time recently. It really was as amazing as everyone says it is.
